This is the worst bit about running upgrades at UCC!

I have used the option in apt/dpkg to "start a shell to examine the 
situation" and then running `vimdiff /etc/somefile{,.dpkg-new}` to good 
effect in this situation in the past. Pulling the new changes into the old 
file, and then keeping it once you exit the shell, was the easiest way to 
go usually.
