Hi All,

So, today I learned that mdraid doesn't like you adding a hot spare to an
array while said array is rebuilding. It appears to make the server hang
by blocking all disk reads/writes. Fun. Anyway that's why motsugo had to
be rebooted without warning this evening.

Regarding the disks, I've purchased and installed WD 2TB Black spinning
disk to replace sde which had 75,000 hours on it and a persistent pending
sector. Once the array has fully rebuilt I'll add the old disk as a hot
spare (sdh, bottom right bay), since it will do in a pinch.
