Hi Harry,

Sounds like fun! (although, I will admit I'm more of a Minecraft person 
when it comes to gaming)

I'm not certain if UCC has any existing installation of ARK:SE, and 
access to our servers is generally restricted to wheel members.

Anyhow, if you're keen to set it up yourself and know how to use Linux 
(or keen to learn) then my recommendation would be to come along to the 
clubroom sometime and get a VM setup for yourself on our Proxmox 
cluster. If you need help, ask on our IRC/Discord - 
https://discord.gg/G8bsgBE.

Probably a good start would be to figure out what you'll need in terms 
of RAM, disk space, etc. You'll also need to be a member to host with 
us, signup is now really simple - just go to 
https://portal.ucc.asn.au/register/ and then come into the clubroom to 
create your account.
