[tech] UniSFA network upgrades

Hi all,

So you are aware, I have replaced the faulty Microtik wifi router named
"sharpchin" which was being used in UniSFA with the spare OpenWRT wifi
router "coromandel". This is due to sharpchin becoming non-functional
for the duration of approximately 50 seconds at random intervals when in
use, which has apparently been a problem for several months if not years.

The configuration on coromandel is essentially the same as the previous
device - there is a single cable from UCC which should be connected to
the WAN port, which trunks VLANs 1, 3 and 6 (1 is untagged) and bridges
VLAN 3 to all of its 4 "LAN" switch ports. UCC wifi should be configured
correctly using RADIUS to samson on both 2.4 and 5GHz channels. The
UniSFA webcam, TV (trelawney) and PC (deepthought) are all cabled to
coromandel, and should each have dedicated IPs on the clubroom network.

If there are any problems with UniSFA's network connection following the
upgrade, please let me know, and I will try to fix it.

Cheers,

Felix [FVP]
