I lost leave of my senses and upgraded Combto to Wheezy.

Fortunately it can't load GNOME3 so it's using the "fall back" mode that 
looks like GNOME2.

The error message is something like: "Rejoice, for your graphics driver or 
hardware are not capable of delivering the full GNOME3 experience"

Also Kalashnikov appears to be FITH, although the temperature of the heat 
sinks suggest that it's doing *something*.
