[tech] mosh

So apparently mosh (mosh.mit.edu) is the next big thing in terms of remote access protocols (think ssh/telent), especially over laggy links and/or where ip addresses are changing and all sorts of stuff like that.

mosh has been installed on motsguo (thanks to whoever did that), and I've opened up ports 60000:61000/udp which it uses for its session synchronisation protocol.

Once you install the mosh client, you can use `mosh motsugo.ucc.asn.au` in lieu of ssh and (potentially, depending on your connection) observe the difference. My first impression is that it makes an absolutely enormous difference over my crummy wireless broadband stick.

Mosh is presently only installed + has ports open on motsugo. Installing mosh on other servers is left as an exercise for the reader.
