Arcane solutions are good to a point, but I find that we're eternally 
fixing old stuff instead of thinking "what cool new stuff can we do now?". 

I realise that the ups is essentially useless if we have no way of 
accessing the server and powering the door - these things will hopefully 
follow. The ups will be a big one that does a couple of the core servers 
as well, so adding the new mermaid to that ups shouldn't be a big thing. 
On that note, can people please keep an eye out for a ups (new or 
otherwise) that can run off a 10A power socket?
