Putting Madako at the bottom of a rack, away from the rest of the network 
gear, is asking for trouble.

The HP is the gigabit switch. I'm not sure what it's currently patched 
into but it would make sense to put it in the same rack as the major 
servers and the clubroom patch panel. (That's how it's largely done at the 
moment.)

I'm not hugely convinced about the rationale for a wholesale rearrangement 
of the racks; it certainly doesn't seem to be directly solving the 
problems raised. But hey.
