I think you're right. Besides, the price and the availability is good
right now and it makes best use of our power/cooling capacity. The
UltraSPARC II's with big fat caches will use significantly more power
than the UltraSPARC I's.

Going by the ebay prices, it's really not worth it - shipping _will_
be expensive. (I'll mention it to the guy, but if you want to be more
demanding, you can ask ::-) ) We can try selling them locally, though,
and hey, if someone pays to ship them, bonus.
USD$50 for a clock, USD$135 for a board and two CPUs - maybe a little
more because we can't afford 10 boards. The CPU price is 25% lower than
our budget, but we didn't really take account of new boards, shipping
or tax (or can we avoid that with secondhand spares?).
We could sell an upgraded E4000 locally, or as is with the option to
share our order, iff we're quick about it.
