[tech] manbo (aka the big mofo E6000 in the clubroom)

manbo is installed with Solaris 9 everything but OEM on a 9gig
partition. It currently mounts /home and is a nis slave, so you can log
in. Currently the rest of the disks aredo not have a filesystem on them,
but the plan I had was to have 3 RAID 5 arrays of 4 disks each, using 12
18GB disks to give a total of 162GB for /space. The plan is to have manbo
take over all of meito's fnctions, including meito's /space, and being a
nis slave to morwong, and decommission meito so Bernard can get his
motherboard back.

As for putting it in the machine room, this will require relocating the
contents of the southmost rack, and possibly some downtime for
mussel. I'm thinking the cleanup weekend (19/20 Feb) is the latest we
should do this.
