Yeah, James fixed the up Debian after I explained the insanity of ATA100
controllers in those ASUS boards.
Windows was just generally fucked, I suspect this is related to the lack
of drivers that were installed.
Something else we need is a PCI sound card. I seem to be lacking any, as
does the UCC. One may have to be purchased.
I assume the linux will also be secured... although this will be a pity,
as we'll loose a machine that is good to experiment on. I guess I have
my notebook now.
