Morning

During one of the laggy periods on mooneye I happened to be running top. The
results where:

 01:14:31 up 41 days, 6:52, 9 users, load average: 22.98, 13.17, 6.20
100 processes: 97 sleeping, 1 running, 2 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 10.6% user, 22.2% system, 0.4% nice, 66.8% idle

Interesting to note that dispite a load average of > 22, cpu is > 60% idle.
The process list showed a lot of ypserv processes. It doesn't look like
mooneye has a CPU problem, rather a NIS or IO problem.

Comments/observations everyone? Anyone?

Yes, there is the comment that I shouldn't be running top on a slow
machine but I know about that one.

See Ya
Simon
