Yay! it's just appeared in unstable. This should flow through to
testing (which is what mussel's mostly running) in due course, no point
rushing it if you've already got it compiled, [ORU].

There's interesting reading in /usr/share/doc/netpbm - particularly the
HISTORY file and the copyright file. Looks like the MPEG code in
particular came out of the UCB tools ; the new package conflicts with
them.

In other news, I've put the galeon web browser on mussel, as packaged at ;
http://galeon.euber.net/galeon/

It depends on Mozilla 0.7 as packaged by Progeny, so I imagine there'll
be a Mozilla 0.8 version along soon enough. It also needed some more
recent GNOME packages including libgnomeui33 (?) . Packages are in
/services/tmp/debian for the time being.

It's quite a nice interim solution - try it. It uses the mozilla base,
with a simplified web-browser-only UI layer. It's also got crash
recovery, so when it does fail (less often than earlier mozilla's...)
you can go back to the same pages/forms you were on.

Mozilla 0.7 is also significantly nicer than M18, which is still the
official Debian release. ('tis a pain, Debian was a pretty prompt way
to track Mozilla between about M14 and M18, IIRC) If it doesn't start
up for you, remove your ~/.mozilla directory - you probably have one
from an earlier version which it doesn't like...

Nick.
