short update.  Grahame had it.  'twas noted in theft book, but as an xt.
The hard drive was not responding to [gmb].  After some minor surgery with a
screwdriver, it now responds.  IMO, it was some corrosion or similar on the
connector cable.  The RTC and main battery are FITH.  I will investigate
replacing both.  The RTC will be *much* easier.  the main one is a 14.4V
2.1A/hr job in a beige sheath.  It *may* be replaceable, or copyable.  I will
bring it on Thursday for others opinions.

It is a 286/12MHz with a 40MB drive.
Originally installed with a copy of Toshiba DOS 4.1, MS Word 5 and some
semblence of an antivirus software.  If anyone wants a copy of these, they
will be available for a short period of time at Waratah. (archival purposes of
course) ask me.

DoS and minix will be played with.
